If there is one thing I hate about my brother, it is the one thing I hate about most people. I guess it's my pet peeve, that and people wanting something after they've been rude to you. It's the fact that people think they are entitled, and privileged to something that doesn't even belong to them. Like my brother, he's taking a "break" from school and he keeps telling my parents they need to fix the car so he can use it, he's even offered to pay. But my parents are just like "the car is for people in school, and your not in school, find a job." And he's all like "how am I suppose to find a job if I don't have a car to get around." Why don't get a job so you can start saving up for a car. I can't believe he's using a car as an excuse for him not to get around, I remember when I'd ask him for a ride to something that was like two blocks away, and he'd be like "Catch the bus!" So I guess you should practice what you preach. But I mean, I just hate it how he tries to act like the victim. Oh poor me, I don't have a car to get around, I'm 23 years old and I don't have anything to show for it.
He lives with his parents, he does have a job every once in a while, so it's not like he has to pay for anything but his cell phone bill and his espn magazine. And it's like he's always trying to threaten my parents with the idea of him moving. And for some reason that is a little frightening to my parents. WHY?!?!?! And why does he need a break from school? It's only been like a year.
But the cool thing is, since he's not in school, when I get my license I will be able to drive the car whenever, where ever I want. And I won't have to worry about not having it, because I'm in school! And he'll probably have to ask me for rides!
Another thing that annoys me about him is that he doesn't own the computer downstairs, but he feels that he can dictate who's on it, and when they can go on it. I'm like dude, just cause it's in you're room, doesn't mean you can control it, you don't pay for anything so stop acting like you do! You hypocrite.
He does so much shit, then lectures me on how it's wrong. I got bad grades one year, he kept telling me that I should do better. He barely graduated high school. I walk around in my boxers, he tells me to put my pants on. I remember catching him with his private part out. Ewwww *shudders*. He calls me gross, when just this morning I saw a cup of orange juice in the bathroom, that he kept in there so he could drink and shower at the same time. He talks about me being fat, when he like went from 165 to 205, and not in muscle. So it's like, okay you used to hurt my feelings when I was a kid, but now that I'm 17 I see the hypocrisy in it all, so just shut the fuck up.
Tonight on Mtv is the Tsunami aid concert. You know, I guess part of me believes that the celebrities are doing it out of the kindness of there hearts, but the other part is like yah right, there's something in it for them. Like that rock the vote crap, you had hell a-list celebrities promoting it, but it was like, come on, you getting paid like a million dollars to do this commercial probably. and I'm sure that the celebs are doing the concert for free, pro bono, but i mean, i bet they're publicist had to convince them that it was good for there image or something. And it's another way to shamelessy promote your upcoming crap.
I'm really hating when I turn on the tv and Vh1 and Mtv are having black history commercials with like rappers and tv personel. Like they made this commercial with Wendy Williams, a smutty radio personel, and at the end they're like "Wendy Williams, black history." No she's not! Oprah! Black History! And then you got rappers rapping about rappers, who were apparently pioneers in black people's struggle to come up. Oh, come on, people give Tupac way to much credit, he contradicted himself to much, just because he, and biggy smalls are dead, don't make the legends. And another Vh1 one commercial was these horrible dancing white people at a party dancing to some song by Grand Master Flash, and it was like "thank you grand master flash, acknowledge black history." Are we just your entertainment!?!?! You play us at the t.v parties but you can't invite us to the t.v parties!?!?!?!?!Omg, come on, this is just horrible. Why don't they put people who actually did something for the black community in these commercials, like Frederick Douglas, Sojourner Truth, and other black real pioneers. Next they'll have a commercial of Aunt Jamimah serving pancakes. "Aunt Jamimah....black history."
I hate when people talk while they're eating, like they talk about the food, and they make everything seem so difficult. Like I was watching the Ashlee Simpson show and she was like eating pancakes and she asked "should i just like, pour the syrup on the pancakes?" I was like what the fuck do you think your suppose to do with syrup? Then her and her friends were just like "uh, i love the bacon." and then ashlee was like "in my restaurant i would make the eggs more scrambily." Oh my God, just eat the damn food!
Hope you love to stay...
